I just got this lens and i am very happy with the iq so far.
Nikon 35Mm 1.8 Test Shots. I set that manually and maybe adjust based on a test shot and the histogram. It is sharp and contrasty wide open. I did notice a little ca at 1.8 but nothing to cry about.

Quick test of the nikon 35mm 1.8g dx lens. However, being a new design we had high hopes for better performance here. There's no excuse for not getting wall hangers if you do your part. Perhaps your stage/event shots are much better than his published ones from a photographer point of view but he knows businees/self marketing to stand out.

The nikon nikkor z 35mm f/1.8 s is a sharp, light prime lens for nikon z cameras that's built well and delivers crystal clear photos. I tested the nikkor z 35mm with the 45.7mp z 7 and software from imatest. That 35 f/1.8 is a killer lens, imo. I set that manually and maybe adjust based on a test shot and the histogram.
